Engraved Shiva Bowl 1342
This masterpiece is hand-craved by a husband and wife team in Kathmandu, Nepal. They will use a hammer and chisel to carve incredible designs into each bowl taking many days to complete just one. This technique is very challenging and time consuming, so there are only a handful of artisans that have the technical skill to create these pieces of functional art.
Lord Shiva is part of the Holy Triad in Hinduism, he is responsible for destruction and recreation. He is very misunderstood because he is this worlds destroyer, but creation sustains itself by a delicate balance between opposing forces of good and evil. And what Shiva is responsible for is destroying all forms of negativity, stagnancy, and decay.
The solar plexus promotes power, inner strength, releasing of past trauma, and removing negativity. It helps to clear a space of stagnation and unwanted energy. This frequency is connected with intimacy, and helps in creating a foundation for healthy relationships.
