The Kalachakra represents the entirety of the 2500 year old Tantra that is recited in an effort to purify the mind and body. This Tantra is all about time, such as the cycles of the planets, the cycles of our own breath, and the various cycles in our bodies and lives. There is also a designation of “Inner” and “Outer” portions fo the tantra. The inner portion references to the internal workings of beings, such as our chakras. The outer portions revolves around our connection to the cosmos and our spiritual body.
